Ken Block was born in California, USA, on November 21, 1967. From a young age, Block loved creativity and adrenaline-fueled pursuits, spending much of his childhood immersed in action sports like skateboarding and motocross. This passion for pushing boundaries laid the foundation for his career in motorsports.

Remembering 43

Ken Block tragically passed away on January 2, 2023, in a snowmobile accident near his ranch in Woodland, Utah. While riding down a steep slope, his snowmobile overturned and landed on top of him. Block was pronounced dead at the scene. The World Rally Championship honoured his memory by retiring his iconic number 43 for the 2023 season.

Ken didn’t just have fuel in his veins; he was also a compassionate and devoted family man. He married Lucy Block, his partner of many years, and together, they raised three children.
